Client Consultation and Communication

Hands-On Practicum

Practical sessions with live models or simulations to apply learned techniques under the guidance of experienced instructors.

  • Skin Analysis (9 hrs)

    • Learn skin analysis

    • Learn skin undertones and the Fitzpatrick scale

  • Cleaning, Disinfection, Sterilization, and Safety (12 hrs)

    • Learn and practice safety and sanitation

    • Prepare treatment area properly

  • Equipment/Supplies (8 hrs)

    • Set up machine and handpiece equipment correctly

  • Color Theory & Effects (32 hrs)

    • Learn color theory

    • Learn how to color correct old eyebrow work to neutralize and coverup

    • Correct imperfections caused by medical issues, excessive plucking, scars, etc.

  • Client Consultation (8 hrs)

    • Intake and consent forms for clients to sign to release liability

    • Conduct client consultations

    • Learn how to chart client information

    • Discuss short and long term aftercare with clients

  • Application of Pigment (64 hrs)

    • Draw and design perfect eyeliner according to the customer’s features and desires.

    • Draw and design perfect eyebrows shape according to the customer’s features and desires.

    • Draw and design perfect lip shapes according to the customer’s features and desires.

    • Learn drawing techniques on paper and latex

    • Watch the trainer do a complete procedure on a live model

    • Practice on 4 live models
