Hands-On Practicum

Practical sessions with live models or simulations to apply learned techniques under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Skin Analysis (9 hrs)
- Learn skin analysis
- Learn skin undertones and the Fitzpatrick scale

Cleaning, Disinfection, Sterilization, and Safety (12 hrs)
- Learn and practice safety and sanitation
- Prepare treatment area properly

Equipment/Supplies (8 hrs)
- Set up machine and handpiece equipment correctly

Color Theory & Effects (32 hrs)
- Learn color theory
- Learn how to color correct old eyebrow work to neutralize and coverup
- Correct imperfections caused by medical issues, excessive plucking, scars, etc.

Client Consultation (8 hrs)
- Intake and consent forms for clients to sign to release liability
- Conduct client consultations
- Learn how to chart client information
- Discuss short and long term aftercare with clients

Application of Pigment (64 hrs)
- Draw and design perfect eyeliner according to the customer’s features and desires.
- Draw and design perfect eyebrows shape according to the customer’s features and desires.
- Draw and design perfect lip shapes according to the customer’s features and desires.
- Learn drawing techniques on paper and latex
- Watch the trainer do a complete procedure on a live model
- Practice on 4 live models
